TECHNICAL NOTE · VERIFIABLE SYSTEM STATE

A system state
you can inspect.

CMM.X uses “verifiable system state” to mean a bounded state artifact whose declared inputs, transformation context, identity and evidence path can be inspected and reproduced within the current public delivery boundary.

CONTROL PROBLEM

An output is easier to trust when its state can be traced.

Market data changes continuously. A useful control surface must distinguish the observation itself from how it was transformed, what evidence accompanies it, and what claims are still not authorized.

01

State

A bounded description of the system at a declared state time. It is not automatically a forecast, recommendation or action permission.

02

Provenance

The state remains linked to declared source material, transformation context and identifiers so its origin inside the delivery package can be inspected.

03

Replay

Verification asks whether the declared evidence path can reproduce the published result within the stated package and boundary.

CONTROL CHAIN
INPUTDeclare the material used to construct the state.
TRANSFORMKeep the transformation context explicit instead of hiding it behind a single score.
STATEPublish the bounded descriptive result at a defined time.
PROOFBind the result to evidence and identifiers that can be checked independently of presentation.
TIMEPreserve ordered history so later observations do not silently rewrite earlier state.
AUTHORITYKeep evidence separate from permission to predict, advise or act.
WHAT “VERIFIABLE” DOES NOT MEAN

Current supported meaning

  • The current public D0/D1 package is inspectable and internally reproducible.
  • State identity, evidence and delivery boundary are exposed through public verification surfaces.
  • The current release is self-consistent within its published package.

Not established by this term

  • No external-origin authenticity claim
  • No predictive edge or alpha claim
  • No market direction or trading signal
  • No D2 external pilot evidence
  • No action or execution authority
WHY IT MATTERS

The objective is controlled interpretation, not stronger certainty.

For research, risk, model-governance and infrastructure workflows, separating state, evidence, uncertainty and authority reduces the chance that a descriptive observation is silently promoted into a stronger claim.

Research

Inspect the current market-state artifact and its transition context without converting it into a signal.

Risk & governance

Review what is proven, what is provisional, what remains undetermined and which claims are explicitly blocked.

CURRENT PUBLIC CLAIM BOUNDARY

Public now

  • D0: PASS
  • D1: PASS_WITHIN_PROVISIONAL_MINIMAL_FACTUAL_BOUNDARY
  • D2 readiness: UNAVAILABLE
  • Predictive claim: NONE

Still external or unauthorized

  • D2 requires a real external consumer pilot under a pre-frozen validated contract.
  • External authenticity remains separate from internal reproducibility.
  • ACTION_GATE and MARKET_GO remain authoritative controls, not presentation outputs.
VERIFICATION PATH

Start with the state. End with the evidence.

Use the live state for orientation, the verification surface for evidence inspection, delivery for the frozen public package, and evaluation for a bounded external test.
